dc.description.abstractO Light Steel Framing é um sistema de construção a seco constituído por uma estrutura leve de perfis de aço galvanizado que formam um esqueleto estrutural autoportante. Sobre este esqueleto estrutural são fixadas placas de fechamento internas e externas, isolamentos termo acústicos e barreiras, gerando uma construção com aspecto final semelhante ao da construção convencional. São estruturas que não utilizam tijolo ou cimento, sendo que o concreto é apenas empregue nas fundações. A flexibilidade e agilidade construtiva do sistema LSF determinam um grande potencial a ser explorado nas mais diversas aplicações, inclusive para habitações de interesse social. Nesse contexto, esse trabalho objetiva apresentar as informações acerca dos materiais, técnicas, métodos e detalhes construtivos empregados no processo de construção de edificações com o sistema LSF.en_US
dc.description.resumoLight Steel Framing is a dry construction system consisting of a lightweight galvanized steel frame structure that forms a self-supporting structural skeleton. On this structural skeleton are fixed internal and external closing plates, thermo acoustic insulation and barriers, generating a construction with final appearance similar to the conventional construction. They are structures that do not use brick or cement, and the concrete is only used in the foundations. The flexibility and constructive agility of the LSF system determine a great potential to be exploited in the most diverse applications, including for social housing. In this context, this work aims to present the information about the materials, techniques, methods and constructive details used in the process of construction of buildings with the LSF system.En
