Stroke is recognized as a focal neurological syndrome of abrupt onset, resulting from a vascular alteration that culminates in brain tissue damage. This study investigates the relationship and benefits of Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) in post-stroke rehabilitation. The methodology was based on the analysis of 22 scientific articles, available in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, with a main time frame between 2021 and 2026, complemented by material from 2008 and 2010 for historical nomenclature background. The PubMed and Google Scholar databases were used. The selection process included articles that presented, in their title and abstract, central aspects of the investigated theme, either in a focused manner or correlated to other related topics. Articles considered incomplete and those that did not demonstrate a clear and direct relationship with the proposed theme in their respective summaries and conclusions were excluded from the analysis. The review of 18 articles confirms the effectiveness of CIMT in post-stroke rehabilitation through neuroplasticity. In the upper limbs, there was a significant gain in motor function and daily activities. In the lower limbs, balance and gait improved. Despite socioeconomic variations and the use of manual or technological techniques, the outcomes are positive. However, the need to standardize protocols (dosage and sessions) to optimize results is highlighted. Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) is consolidated as an effective intervention in post-stroke rehabilitation, promoting neuroplasticity and synaptic remodeling with both technological and manual resources. The protocol generates functional gains in upper and lower limbs, increasing independence in daily activities. However, the lack of standardization in dosage, intensity, and duration of sessions is the main gap. Further studies are needed to define precise guidelines.En
