dc.description.abstractA infecção do trato urinário está entre as infecções bacterianas mais comuns adquiridas na comunidade e nos hospitais, acometendo principalmente as mulheres. Além disso, lidamos com a realidade de que cada dia mais existem bactérias resistentes aos antibióticos propostos e normalmente oferecidos em hospitais e farmácias, fazendo com que acabe gerando diversos impactos a saúde humana. Sendo assim, o objetivo deste trabalho foi apresentar quais são as principais bactérias envolvidas nessas infecções e sua resistência perante os antibióticos, trazendo também maneiras de prevenção e tratamento. Com isso, foi feito a seleção e estudo de artigos científicos nas plataformas de bases de dados abertas com Scielo, Portal CAPES, Biblioteca Virtual da Saúde e Pubmed, realizando uma revisão literária. Foram utilizados os artigos publicados em português e inglês no período de 2000 até 2023. A partir dessa pesquisa, foi possível visualizar quais são principais bactérias causadoras das infecções que acometem o trato urinário e quais são os antibióticos resistentes a elas. Conclui-se que é necessário que existam medidas necessárias para tentar evitar que ocorra a resistência bacteriana, enfatizando sempre que precisa haver um uso racional dos antibióticos, prevenção das infecções, controle e prevenção da disseminação principalmente nos hospitais.en_US
dc.description.resumoUrinary tract infection is among the most common bacterial infections acquired in the community and in hospitals, affecting mainly women. In addition, we deal with the reality that every day there are more bacteria resistant to the proposed antibiotics and normally offered in hospitals and pharmacies, causing it to end up generating several impacts on human health. Therefore, the objective of this work was to present which are the main bacteria involved in these infections and their resistance to antibiotics, also bringing ways of prevention and treatment. With this, the selection and study of scientific articles was made in the open database platforms with Scielo, CAPES Portal, Virtual Health Library and Pubmed, performing a literary review. Articles published in Portuguese and English from 2000 to 2023 were used. From this research, it was possible to visualize which are the main bacteria that cause infections that affect the urinary tract and which are the antibiotics resistant to them. It is concluded that there must be necessary measures to try to prevent bacterial resistance from occurring, always emphasizing that there needs to be a rational use of antibiotics, prevention of infections, control and prevention of dissemination mainly in hospitals.En
